FAQ

The questions people ask before they run a Market Draft.

Straight answers about what Rehinged Intelligence is, where it came from, how the work is produced, and how it compares to the other ways of getting market intelligence. Every answer stands on its own. Current pricing lives on the pricing page, not here.

About Rehinged

1What is Rehinged Intelligence?

Rehinged Intelligence is a commercial intelligence system for companies selling into U.S. healthcare. It builds a company’s market: the buyers most likely to need what the company sells, scored against structured healthcare evidence, with the reason to call on every account, verified contacts, and draft outreach. The work is delivered finished, inside a working application, and refreshed on request. Rehinged Intelligence is built and operated by Rehinged, Inc.

2Where did Rehinged come from?

Rehinged was founded in 2018 as a venture-backed data science company, built to analyze markets and help growth-stage companies turn data into commercial decisions. It became an independent company in 2020. For several years the limitation was economics: the intelligence companies needed was technically possible but expensive to produce. Rehinged spent that time building healthcare market infrastructure, scoring models, and commercial methodology. When AI systems became capable enough to work across that foundation, the production economics changed, and Rehinged Intelligence is the result.

3Who is behind Rehinged?

Rehinged is led by Jim Sagar, founder and CEO, who has spent twenty-five years at the intersection of B2B marketing strategy, marketing execution, sales, and technology. The strategic planning, execution tools, and know-how he delivered to clients for over two decades are built into the agents inside Rehinged Intelligence. The team combines market intelligence, commercial operating experience, and systems engineering, on a foundation laid by more than thirty people since 2018. The company page lists the team and advisors.

4How does Rehinged work?

Rehinged is a small core team working with agents it built itself. The agents analyze large sets of market data, write and review the code in the product, build and improve other agents, design product, run a hostile QA on client output before a person reviews it, create engineering handoffs, built the rehinged.ai website, use the product to find and introduce Rehinged to the companies it would like to work with, support leadership on strategy, handle administrative work, and recommend what to improve next. People decide what to focus on, review what comes back, and either accept the work or send it back until it is right. When an engagement needs more engineers, Rehinged adds them to the engagement.

5Is Rehinged a software company or a services company?

Rehinged sells finished commercial work, not software seats. A client receives a built market, add-ons scoped against it, or a Revenue Engineer engagement, delivered inside the Rehinged Intelligence application. There is nothing to install and nothing to learn. Rehinged describes itself as generative AI in the healthcare commercial intelligence layer: the data, scoring, and methodology underneath are Rehinged’s, and the agents produce the work on top of them.

6What is a Market Draft?

A Market Draft is Rehinged’s free first read on a company’s market: proposed Ideal Customer Profiles, the logic behind them, and real example accounts where the evidence supports it. It is delivered into a Rehinged Intelligence account alongside the Meridian Reference Build, a complete illustrative example of a finished market, so the reader can judge the full product before paying for anything. There is no card and no call. The intake takes about twenty minutes. Start the intake →

7What does the Full Build include?

The Full Build is priced per market, one time. One market means one buyer universe, scored: one product line sold into one type of buyer. It includes the market sized (TAM, SAM, and SOM for what the company actually sells), ICP scoring algorithms per product, scored and ranked target accounts with the signals that explain why they matter now, buying signals, verified contacts, and draft outreach written per ICP and per target, ready for approval and never sent on the client’s behalf. The first look arrives within seventy-two hours; the market is live in about a week and dialed in over the following weeks. A refresh brings the same build current whenever it is needed. Current pricing is on the pricing page.

8What are the add-ons?

Once a Full Build is complete, Rehinged can scope additional finished work against it: competitive battlecards, marketing campaigns, sales enablement tools, marketing and sales playbooks, and a full strategic go-to-market plan. Add-ons are built on the market foundation because a battlecard built on stale targets is a defective battlecard. Add-ons are scoped and quoted after the build.

9What is a Revenue Engineer engagement?

A Revenue Engineer engagement pairs one expert with the agents and the client’s market foundation, working against the client’s commercial objectives month to month. The client brings one objective; finished work comes back into the week the team already runs. The foundation is re-scored monthly while the engagement is active. Engagements are monthly and quoted to the volume of work; the current range is on the pricing page.

10Where does the data come from, and how current is it?

Rehinged’s healthcare intelligence layer covers more than 80,000 healthcare organizations and more than 1.1 million Medicare prescribers, with proprietary scoring models and source-dated evidence. The structured base is CMS provider and certification data, quality measures, surveys and enforcement, staffing data, Medicare prescribing and procedure evidence, reimbursement schedules, and product and device registries. Core post-acute data is updated weekly where the source supports it. Medicare prescriber utilization is authoritative but retrospective, roughly two years behind, and Rehinged says so wherever it is used. Current context such as ownership changes, hiring, and expansion comes from external enrichment and is source-dependent. When a commercial question needs evidence beyond the healthcare layer, Rehinged enriches the U.S. market needed for the model.

11How do I know a score is real?

Every published score carries its source and date. Rehinged separates what is observed in a source, what is calculated by a model, what is enriched from current research, what is inferred as an analytical conclusion with its confidence stated, and what is still unknown. When there is not enough evidence to score a dimension, it is shown as missing rather than invented. Scores describe patterns and signals in a facility’s data, never a judgment about the facility.

12Who reads a report before I do?

A person at Rehinged reviews every report before it is delivered. Agents produce the work and run a hostile QA on it first; a person decides whether it is ready to leave.

13Will anyone call me?

No. Rehinged keeps in touch by email only. Nobody calls unless the client asks for a call. Most clients complete a Full Build purchase over a few emails of real questions; multi-market scoping and Revenue Engineer conversations get a working session.

The questions people actually ask

14Is this AI slop?

Slop is what a model produces when it is asked to write about something it has not looked at. Rehinged reports start from data, not from a prompt. The facilities are real, every signal is drawn from a public record with a source and a date, each contact carries how it was verified and how confident Rehinged is, and a person at Rehinged reads the report before the client does. The easiest test is the free Market Draft: pick three facilities you know and check whether the reasons to call hold up. If anything reads like a judgment about a facility rather than a pattern in its data, tell Rehinged. That is a defect, not a style.

15Can I do this with my ChatGPT account?

Try it. Ask a general model which facilities in your territory are most likely to buy what you sell this quarter, and why. You will get a reasonable paragraph. You will not get the list, because a general model does not hold facility-level records, does not know which codes your product bills under, and does not score anything. Rehinged uses the same class of models. The difference is what they are pointed at: the data underneath, scoring built for your category, verification, and a refresh whenever you need the list current. The model is the pen. The market is the part you cannot prompt your way to.

16How is this different from what a search or data company sells?

Search gives you a database and a query box, and the work starts after: who to call first, why, and what to say. Rehinged delivers the work. One market, scored for your product, with the reason to call on every account, the contacts, and the first draft of the outreach, finished and refreshable. You do not buy seats and you do not learn a tool. You buy a market, use it, and order the next one when you need it. If you already pay for data your reps do not open, this is the part that was missing.

17Is Rehinged a healthcare data platform?

No. Rehinged uses one. Rehinged’s healthcare intelligence layer, structured CMS and Medicare evidence across more than 80,000 organizations and 1.1 million prescribers, is the foundation the work is built on, not the product. A data platform sells access and leaves the analysis, the targeting, and the outreach to the subscriber. Rehinged delivers the result of that work: the market scored for one product, the reasons to call, the contacts, and the draft outreach, in a working application. Clients do not query a database. They open a finished market.

18Is Rehinged a consulting firm or an agency?

No. A consulting engagement produces a study and a recommendation; an agency runs campaigns on retainer. Rehinged produces a working foundation that stays current: a built market that can be refreshed, with finished commercial work scoped against it when the client wants more. A Revenue Engineer engagement is the closest Rehinged comes to a retainer, and it works differently: one objective in, finished work back, month to month, with the agents doing the production and one expert owning the outcome. There is no discovery phase to pay for and no deck at the end.

19Does Rehinged replace the data subscription I already pay for?

Rehinged replaces the work nobody was doing with the data. Most commercial teams selling into healthcare already pay for market data their reps do not open, because between the subscription and the quota sits a job no one at their size can hire: turning data into call lists with reasons to call, messaging that matches the market, and competitive work for the deals they are actually in. Rehinged is that job, staffed. Whether the subscription is still worth keeping is the client’s call once the finished work is in hand; some keep it for reference, some do not.

20Why is the price so low?

Rehinged can price a built market the way it does because the economics of producing it changed. The agents do the production; people do the judgment. For most teams selling into a healthcare market, one closed deal covers the build. Jim Sagar, founder and CEO, puts it this way: “As a brand strategist I told clients for decades that you cannot position a brand around something that is fast, high quality, and inexpensive. You pick two. Yet here we are. My old rule no longer applies, and I would rather you test that than take my word for it. Run your own Market Draft, test it against whatever else you use, and judge the difference by what comes back.”

Still have a question?

The fastest answer is your own market. The Market Draft is free, takes about twenty minutes, and nobody calls you unless you ask.
